Ron Green
One of the most respected professionals in American motorsports public relations, Ron brings more than two decades of experience and accomplishment to GRand Solutions.
Name a major motorsport series or venue that has competed in the United States, and chances are Ron has worked with officials from that organization or venue to promote successful events and create positive media impressions during his 24-year tenure in motorsports PR, media relations and crisis communications. NASCAR, the IZOD IndyCar Series, Formula One, MotoGP, USAC, the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and Charlotte Motor Speedway are just some of the series and facilities that have benefited from Ron’s ideal balance of creativity, vision and organization.
During a decade at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Corporation, Ron developed and executed successful public relations plans that helped create global awareness and generate revenue for the Indy Racing League, Indianapolis 500, Brickyard 400, United States Grand Prix Formula One and Red Bull Indianapolis GP MotoGP races and the Centennial Era celebration. Those programs incorporated an effective blend of traditional and online media, with growing emphasis on social media.
His broad range of public relations and journalism experience also includes stints at True Speed Communication, owned by three-time NASCAR champion Tony Stewart, Charlotte Motor Speedway, Indianapolis Raceway Park, USAC and National Speed Sport News.
Ron knows all of the media and PR angles. More importantly, he knows how to implement them with deft skill, professionalism and follow-through of the smallest details for results. That savvy also is bolstered by strong, dependable personal relationships Ron has cultivated at every level of the sport and media, from the elite world stage to the grassroots.
